Defense
The Ministry of Defence is responsible for the protection of the Netherlands and the security of the Kingdom. Defence consists of various components, such as the Royal Netherlands Army, Royal Netherlands Navy, Royal Netherlands Air Force, Royal Netherlands Marechaussee, and various supporting organisations. Together, they ensure that the Netherlands is prepared for threats and that military personnel can be deployed worldwide for peace, security, and humanitarian aid.
